I think that everything composed made a bunch of sense. But, what about this? suppose you were to write a awesome headline? I ain't saying your content isn't solid, however what if you added a headline to possibly get a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little boring. You should look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create post titles to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab readers excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
